Giving OUr Women More Options by Changing the Model

The Sapphire Golf Tour is more than a series of tournaments — it’s a movement born from history, driven by purpose, and powered by the brilliance of Black women in golf. For too long, their talent has been overlooked, underfunded, and unseen. We’re here to change that. Rooted in the legacy of pioneers like Ann Gregory and Renee Powell, the Sapphire Golf Tour is rewriting the future — one city, one swing, one story at a time. This is where visibility meets opportunity. Where dreams turn into careers. And where a new generation of girls will finally see themselves in the game — not as outsiders, but as champions.

Building Tomorrow’s Game on Yesterday’s Legacy

We carry the weight of this tour with purpose. UGA is leading the way, building a pipeline through the Golf Academy, National Team, and now the Sapphire Golf Tour. From Althea Gibson, Ann Gregory to Renee Powell, UGA has been the foundation of Black excellence in golf. Today’s talented, tour-ready women still lack the backing they deserve — and we’re here to change that.

Creating a Pipeline for Future Champions

The Sapphire Golf Tour is leveling the playing field for women by investing where it matters most — at the developmental stage. We’re bridging the gap between junior elite golf, college play, and the pro tour by creating a competitive, nurturing space for growth. Through partnerships with junior golf programs, HBCUs, UGA, LPGA, & forward-thinking brands, we’re building a lasting, diversity-driven pipeline of talented young women of all ages

sapphire cares everywhere

At every Sapphire Golf Tour stop, we’re investing in young girls who deserve to see themselves in this game. A portion of each tournament’s proceeds will go to local programs that grow golf for girls of color — because access isn’t optional, it’s our responsibility.
